The Position

Responsible for ensuring that applications for identification certificates are received securely, adequately verified and properly processed; that orders are correctly filled and that customers receive exceptional service.


What you will be doing

  • Utilize web-based system to review incoming certificate applications for completeness.
  • Perform billing pre-authorization and final billing tasks, including processing credit card, purchase orders, vouchers, etc.
  • Perform Identification & Authentication according to specific levels as required by IdenTrust customers.
  • Perform certificate exception processing and capacity to determine legitimacy of applicant.
  • Contact customers directly to resolve application related discrepancies.
  • Process incoming mail to match up with pending applications; specialized request forms, notarized forms, disputes and other documentation.
  • Review notarized documentation for completeness and contact appropriate agencies to determine validity of notary.
  • Record incoming certificate applications and agreements, including preparation of customer files (original and working), exceptions, revocations, disputes, etc.

What we are looking for

  • Excellent communication skills and proven record of providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to securely handle customer data.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards.
  • Capability to work flexible hours based on business need.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ combined customer service and/or administrative office experience.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • As a Trusted Role, the candidate must agree to, and successfully pass a comprehensive background check to include:
    • Financial review (credit worthiness);
    • Civil review (public records, judgments, liens, etc.);
    • Criminal background check; and
    • Drug screening.
