The person in this role will provide support in a Financial Analyst role to the Identity Access Management Solutions (IAMS) business area within HID Global. 


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform monthly analysis of Business Area financial results and prepare management presentations.  Investigate variances from historical performance and against budget.
  • Provide detailed revenue and orders reporting by product type, industry segment and organizational unit.
  • Assist and advise IAM Solutions Controller in preparation of Business Area strategy requirements, including what-if scenario planning.  Provide strategic recommendations based on data driven analysis.
  • Create financial models to support revenue forecasting for perpetual and subscription software contracts. 
  • Create budgets and quarterly cost forecasts for product management, product marketing, professional services and sales departments.
  • Consolidate budgets across five operational entities, incorporating forecasts from operations and shared SG&A functions
  • Present findings and recommendations to Business Area managers.
  • Create analysis reports from Oracle database and support others in the Business Area with reporting requirements.
  • Completes special projects and ad hoc analysis, timely and accurately as assigned.

Education and/or Experience         

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in a financial analysis role
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Software Industry
  • Experience with an advanced ERP system, Oracle data warehouse preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to build Excel-based models to evaluate financial scenarios
  • Knowledge of HFM or similar financial reporting system
  • Experience working in a high tech, fast paced work environment
  • Ability to thrive in matrixed organization


Language Skills                   

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.        


Computer Skills     

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
