Under general supervision and with guidance from management, perform failure analysis and reliability test on HID products and establish comprehensive report; perform in process and final inspection or test on a wide variety of HID products and document results; indicate inspection status, maintain product tractability and non-conforming control; perform audits and document results.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Perform failure analysis on non functioning HID products, understand the root caused and address with appropriate corrective actions; collect data to drive continuous improvement and prevent re occurrence of the same failures.
• Establish and execute reliability test program; collaborate with Product Quality and Engineering on the test specification.
• Perform in-process inspection and on finished product at the suppliers/contract manufacturer in accordance to HID products drawings and record results on appropriate documentation; communicate any discrepancies to the person(s) responsible for root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action activities.
• Control non-conforming product in accordance with HID drawings and verify timely corrective and preventative actions completion and effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain statistical process control; collect, analyze data and drive timely resolution of supplier/contract manufacturer production failures.
• Perform audits at the suppliers/contract manufacture and establish report; verify timely corrective and preventative actions completion on the findings and effectiveness.
• Comply with and reinforce the requirements of quality/standard operating procedures and others at the suppliers/contract manufacturer.
• Other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience
• College degree in a related field is preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in production/quality management
• 2+ years of industry experience in Access Control, RFID Contactless card.

Language Skills
• Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

Work Environment
• Employee works primarily in an office environment, within a well ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.
