The position:

You will be part of the Inside Sales team in EMEA, working together with a dynamic and multi-cultural sales team. Your role will be capital to maximize and expand EAT sales opportunities. You will conduct outbound communications and campaigns with HID Customers, strategic business alliances, leads and prospects to provide consistent product knowledge expertise for HID Extended Access Technologies Products (RFID & Biometrics).

You will receive and process inbound communications related to HID Solutions and/or services and manage relationships with customers and contacts making use of the CRM tools supporting all customers in EMEA.

Direct channel customer responsibilities may be assigned for a set of given countries in EMEA.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Take responsibility for and become a champion of EAT products and services providing sales support across all EAT sales channels
  • Maintain and manage all licenses and partners agreement including direct liaison with customers, update of the database and report.
  • Set up new customer account, manage account update in CRM tools, ensure all document in CRM tools is compliant to internal requirements. Directly solicit for new account information and discuss commercial terms with customers.
  • Provide quotations, review and screen POs and champion demand forecast in Sales and Operations (S&OP) process.  
  • Set up Pricing and Special Quotes in CRM tools. Coordinate with customers and sales team to ensure all information is precise and accurate for management approval. 
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Operations and Finance for supporting sales orders and sample orders
  • Liaise with internal support teams on satisfying special customer requirements on POs.
  • Provide support to trade shows. Qualify and follow through leads to identify opportunities.
  • Provide complete and professional communications to customers and internal sales team via phone and email while maintaining these results and action items through CRM tools.
  • Plan and conduct presentation of HID Solutions to customers via phone, on-line tools and email.
  • Continuous learning of product enhancements. Communicate product updates to customers, including End of Life (EOL), new technology introduction, product change notice.
  • Occasional visits with Sales team to major accounts on regular business review.
  • Participate as key member partnering with the external sales team to provide exemplary customer service and maximize team efficiency and revenue.
  • Provide timely submission of monthly reports, expense reports and other related action items as required by senior management.

  • Effective selling skills, up to date telecommunication and cold call skills, as well as good interpersonal skill.

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and complete short-term and/or long-term tasks and project assignments on time
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere
  • Must have the ability to work with and deal with various languages and cultures.
  • Professional appearance and presentation is required. 
  • Must demonstrate customer focused mentality.


Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree or equivalent training and experience in sales, or customer service organization.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in tele-sales, inside sales, sales assistant or account management. Experience in supporting direct OEM accounts is an advantage.


Language Skills:

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
  • Other EMEA language(s) an advantage
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.


Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, Web based tools or CRM tools like SalesForce.
  • Technology background and/or ability to learn new technologies considered a plus.


Work Requirement

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork includes international travel, therefore employee must possess or can acquire a valid Passport.
  • Must have appropriate business attire for meetings and tradeshows.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Ireland
