As the Senior IT Project Manager in the Enterprise Applications space, you will be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with Business leaders, Product Managers, Super users, Engineering, Change Management and other internal IT teams.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage multiple projects to budget, scope and schedule
  • Create and execute deployment plans, revise as appropriate to meet changing needs deployment parameters
  • Ensure milestones are met
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Ensure delivery of the baseline project
  • Coordinate with third party vendors on project execution
  • Escalate areas of concern early to manage risks.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Develop and deliver progress reports (weekly or at a frequency commensurate with project scale) and ensure meeting minutes are written, complete and circulated appropriately
  • Use appropriate techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Contribute to an environment that fosters collaboration and teamwork through sharing experiences, information, perspectives, skills, and expertise
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities as requested

  • At least 8 years of experience as a project manager
  • Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies.
  • Understanding of enterprise software development life cycle, including SQA processes and release management is a plus
  • Exposure of information systems, enterprise applications, business processes and measures of success
  • Experience in Agile Scrum delivery framework preferred
  • Understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices
  • Experience in building relationships with people at a variety of levels
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Able to exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of the ITIL framework preferred

Education and/or Experience          

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PMP or CAPM certification preferred

Language Skills                   

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.             

                       Computer Skills     

  • Proficient with PM tools such as MS Project, Jira
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
