The Position: What you will be doing: Summary of job

You will be responsible for manage the logistics network to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities will include developing key logistics strategies regarding network structure, product flow, distribution, reverse logistics, and supplier management (including 3PL warehousing and transportation). Role will also drive the portfolio of logistics projects to deliver on-going performance improvements within the Asia-Pacific region. This position will be based in Singapore / Hong Kong.


What we are looking for:

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics and transportation services
  • Create policies and procedures for logistics activities
  • Manage portfolio of regional logistics projects and solutions
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
  • Work with regional acquisitions to perform due diligence reviews and align operational processes with global standards and best practices
  • Liaise and negotiate with logistics services suppliers and internal customers
  • Manage international logistics within region and choose optimum modes and frequency of shipments
  • Control inbound and outbound freight costs and maintain appropriate balance between lead time and cost
  • Monitor and ensure that 3PL warehouse and transportation services comply with established SLAs by monitoring and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing improvement actions with logistics services providers
  • Monitor dispatches and delivery lead times from warehouse and take timely actions to ensure on-time delivery
  • Supervise, coach, and keep the team motivated and work on improving the process and operations
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
  • Develop and maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
  • Drive AEO/trusted trader certification, compliance, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Working knowledge of trade regulations, tariffs and preferential trade agreements, import/export policies and custom clearance procedures


Education and/or Experience          

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of Logistics and Project management experience in a global environment
  • Established track record of successful Supply Chain project implementations


Language Skills                   

  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian, or other regional languages highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.                       


Computer Skills     

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
